Available from late May until the end of August, this road trip is ideal for independent travellers looking to explore the northwestern reaches of North America. You’re in charge as you drive this sensibly paced self-drive route surrounded by gold rush-era history, mountain peaks and pine forests. As part of the trip, you’ll be treated to an incredible one-hour scenic flight over the vast glacial parklands of Kluane National Park and embark on an included train trip on the legendary White Pass & Yukon Railway. As the driving conditions in the Yukon and Alaska can be slightly more rustic than other areas of North America, we recommend booking an all-wheel drive vehicle.
