Although now removed, there was once an 18 metre high hill located to the south of Collins Street and Southern Cross railway station. Look out for a steel marker the same height as the original hill.

Located in the Central Business District, Batman’s Hill on Collins is pretty central. You’re just a 20 min walk into central Melbourne, and tourist hot spots like the Royal Botanic Gardens and the SEA LIFE Centre are all walkable too. You’ll find plenty in the way of restaurants and café all around the hotel. And if you want to explore further afield the Southern Cross Station is a 2 min walk away, connecting you to the rest of the city by train and underground.
