Darwin and Kakadu Discovery - Hero

Independent Tours

If you want to visit an area of significant Aboriginal cultural significance teaming with nature, a tour of Kakadu National Park is an absolute must. Just a few hours drive east of Darwin, this World Heritage-listed national park covers 20,000 square kilometres of landscape from rocky escarpment home to historic Aboriginal rock art dating back thousands of years, to floodplains abundant with wildlife. Our Discovery tour will show you the highlights of Australia’s ‘Top End’. Starting in the laid-back tropical city of Darwin, discover its rich history and slow down the pace enjoying breathtaking sunsets, night markets and its Asian-influenced dining scene. Your guided tour will take you to Kakadu’s significant Nourlangie and Ubirr rock art galleries. Spend time with an Aboriginal guide providing an insight into their culture, including local mythology. And cruise along the Yellow Water Billabong in search of large crocodiles and be mesmerised by the waterways and abundant birdlife.
