Local Area
The desert town of Sedona sits in the centre of Arizona around an hour’s drive south of Flagstaff. It’s a super scenic setting with sheer canyons, weathered sandstone buttes, and mountain foothills filled with shaded pine forest trails. Red Rock State Park, especially, is the perfect place to spend a day on a mountain bike or hiking to a vista point for a picnic.
Head into the city and you’ll find an eclectic range of independent art galleries, heritage museums, marketplaces and outlet shopping experiences. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, especially, has got a whole host of craft shops and Mexican markets complete with cobblestone pathways leading through ornate looking archways.
