Rooms are super spacious and feature either one king or two queen-size beds. Suites are double the size and include separate living and dining space alongside kitchens and bar areas. Décor is lavish with silky soft furnishings matched by plush carpets, wall lamps and Elvis artwork. Ensuite bathrooms feature spa-like walk-in rain showers. Accessible rooms and suites are available on request. RESORT FEE: $13.30 per room, per night (subject to applicable taxes) will be charged direct upon check-in unless booking a room type that specifically states the fee is included. Local Area
The city of Memphis is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in the Southern state of Tennessee. It’s somewhere that’s synonymous with the music of the Blues, Soul and Rock & Roll. Elvis, especially, is indelibly linked to the city. His former home, Graceland, is situated around a 15min drive from downtown on Elvis Presley Boulevard.
Elsewhere in Memphis, you can step into Sun Studios, the Blues Hall of Fame and the Stax Museum of American Soul Music. If you’re after a night on the town, head to Beale Street which reverberates to live music venues and the sweet smells of Southern fried soul food.
Other than the musical lineage, Memphis also has some very important sites relating to American Civil Rights. The National Civil Rights Museum, in particular, is definitely worth visiting with numerous interactive exhibits and historic artefacts.
