San Diego, Central America & Panama Canal Cruise

This amazing 18-day experience starts with two nights in San Diego as a prelude to a fabulous fortnight of cruising around both the Pacific and Caribbean coastlines of Central America, through the Panama Canal and finishing up in Florida’s Miami. After making a series of fascinating ports of call in Mexico, Guatemala, and Panama, the ship’s captain will carefully navigate a course through the world-famous Panama Canal on route to the sultry city of Cartagena in Colombia, and a final day at Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line’s very own private island in the Bahamas. You’ll most likely be cruising aboard the intimate Zuiderdam, on which you can enjoy a great mix of free time and organised activities, plus an array of dining, cultural, and entertainment options. We’ve chosen a 15-day cruise from San Diego to Miami, but please note that a number of different cruises are available (with slight tweaks to the itinerary), some of which operate on the Eurodam and Koningsdam, and some which end in Fort Lauderdale rather than Miami. Longer duration cruises, setting sail from Seattle, are also available.
